Proceedure
- Bring the prospective member to a meeting. The club will pay for the meal.
- Introduce the member as a guest (not as a perspective member). The introduction should include their name, current occupation and something else about them (family, other affliations, hobies ...).
- Explain to the prospect the member responsibilities (this can be done before or after step 1, above). (http://www.rotarytworivers.org/ProspectiveMemberInfoAppl.html#Expect)
- The prospective member fills out an application form (http://www.rotarytworivers.org/ProspectiveMemberInfoAppl.html#Form) on line or a printed version (http://www.rotarytworivers.org/ProspectiveMemberApplication.pdf).
- The completed application form is given to the club president.
- At the next regular Monday meeting the President asks for a motion to accept the prospective member as a regular member.
- The proposing member brings the new member to a meeting. The President welcomes the new member and presents a pin, badge, and other items.
- The new member attends the orientation sessions.
- The new member is assigned a mentor for the first year.
